IE9 for Firefox - Stratiform
IE9 for Firefox saw a cease and eventually halt in development during Firefox 4’s Beta stages due to the introduction of frequent theme-breaking changes. With the release of Firefox 4, Ben (SpewBoy) and Josh (SoapyHamHocks) essentially picked this project up and included everything you need to make Firefox look like IE9 in their theme customization addon, Stratiform. Please follow this link,...

Windows 7 - Basic WIP i01
Here’s is a screenshot of my new theme for Windows 7, Basic. This theme originally began as an adaptation of a concept I created for a Windows 7 theme, which also bears the same name. I began to recreate that concept as a theme for Windows, but due to the limited nature of Windows 7’s theming engine, it wasn’t faithful to the concept and had plenty of glitches. I started from...
New Steam UI - i03
This is the third version of my Steam UI concept. Features: Windows Vista and Windows 7 Aero Integration. Streamlined Steam Client with a refined navigation bar featuring new styled buttons and navigation links. Application Pinning - Pin your favorite games to the main window so that you can access them from any location within Steam. A counter next to the pinned application gives the user a...

Untitled - Something New
It’s been a while since I’ve last created any concepts or worked on any themes, so here’s a nice lengthy post to make up for that. I had gone on a rather long Photoshop/Firefox hiatus, due to my lack of creativity and motivation at the time. Over the course of that break, my motivation had slowly been restored, and now I am eager to begin delivering new, high quality themes to...

Twitter Client - Concept
There are a countless number of Twitter clients available for every platform imaginable. I’m not completely satisfied with any one client though, so naturally I set out to design my own.Compact Mode This client features a clean, minimalistic design with the ability to be themed to the user’s likings. Custom avatar overlays and masks ensure consistency among all users. The goal of this...
Twitter - A Better Navigation Bar
Based on the suggestions made by Arkon, I have made a few changes to the navigation bar. The search box has been relocated to the right side with the user avatar and dropdown menu directly to the left of it, and the navigation links to the far left. A new Twitter Bird icon has also been added to the left.
The New Twitter - With a Dash of Metro
Just before the New Twitter was announced I went through all the trouble of making a Metro version of the old Twitter. After this announcement I decided to put that project on hold, as it just seemed like a waste of time developing a theme for a website that was just about to be changed immensely.Flash forward a couple of weeks; the New Twitter was pushed to my account and I was able to pick this...

Firefox 4
I think that past versions of Mozilla’s Firefox 3.7/4.0 mockups were not only more original, but preferred by nearly everyone over the current set of mockups. The simplicity and effectiveness of the original user interface had vanished, and in it’s place came a bloated and crowded user interface with far too many unpolished elements floating about the browser.I had some free time...

Minimal - OS Concept
I worked on this around the same time I did Minimal for Firefox. It is a concept for an Operating System with a design where elements from Windows, Mac OS X, and internet browsers clash.
Posterous
I’m giving Posterous a shot. Posterous is a sweet blogging service (much like Tumblr for my uses), but allows me to update it easily through quickly dispatched emails. I know I continually change services and it can become a pain, but I’m on a never ending hunt for the perfect blogging service, and until I find the perfect one I’m just going to have to keep trying different ones...
Internet Explorer 9 for Firefox
A few people had requested an Internet Explorer 9 theme for Firefox, so we figured what the hell. Here’s what we whipped up in a couple of hours. We designed it off of the default Firefox theme, so that means it technically isn’t even it’s own theme and it’s not ready for the public yet. We’re still waiting on Mozilla to finalize the Firefox 4 theme, so once that is...
Metro 2.0
We’re working on developing a UI for the latest version of Metro. Josh and I both felt that previous versions of Metro for Firefox represented the UI well, but we also agreed we could do a better job adapting it in future versions.
So far, we’ve enlarged some elements of the UI to help bring focus to areas of high importance. Typography is an essential part of the Metro UI so we are...

Minimal - The First Step
After Beta 1’s release yesterday I started working diligently to transform Minimal into a working theme for Firefox. I started by working off of Mozilla’s (sloppy) code, and began shifting elements around and modifying their styles. This put my knowledge of CSS to the test, and I think I did rather well for myself being primarily a Photoshop guy. :P
I have now handed what I have...

Minimal i05 - Firefox Concept
This concept has been inspired by netbook users and aims to provide them with more content, and less wasted space.
Note: This concept cannot be realized in the current version of Firefox. Firefox 4.0’s titlebar drawing is necessary support the tabs and menu button depicted in this concept.
Also, I did not share this concept when it was first created, and it has gone through 5 major...
