I think that past versions of Mozilla’s Firefox 3.7/4.0 mockups were not only more original, but preferred by nearly everyone over the current set of mockups. The simplicity and effectiveness of the original user interface had vanished, and in it’s place came a bloated and crowded user interface with far too many unpolished elements floating about the browser.
I had some free time today, so I decided modify the default theme to take it in the direction I had hoped Mozilla would.
My version of the theme will feature the following elements:
- Navigation Buttons
- Stop/Reload
- URL Bar
- Tabs
- Firefox Menu
Please note that the Firefox Menu is not included in this preview. I am in the process of designing it now and it will be present in the next preview.
