Windows 7 - Basic WIP i01
Here’s is a screenshot of my new theme for Windows 7, Basic.
This theme originally began as an adaptation of a concept I created for a Windows 7 theme, which also bears the same name. I began to recreate that concept as a theme for Windows, but due to the limited nature of Windows 7’s theming engine, it wasn’t faithful to the concept and had plenty of glitches. I started from scratch, and this is what I have so far with a few days worth of work devoted to it.
I know a couple ideas aren’t exactly original, including the curved taskbar, as well as the OS X inspired sidebar, but I am attempting to create what I think would be the culmination of the best Operating Systems UIs and Visual Styles I’ve seen to this date, so I hope no one minds.
