More Information:

Caption Buttons:

The caption buttons that were in my previous in-house iterations were bothering me greatly since I had first started this concept.I decided to put my own spin on them, mostly to better match the elements within the Firefox concept.

I tweaked the border opacities, and gave the icons a new style that I consider to be a cross breed of the default Windows 7 style icons and my active navigation icons. Overall, I think these changes were for the better.

The Firefox Menu:

This menu threw me for a loop for a while. I eventually decided to take some cues from Mozilla and create an Aero border around the main contents of the menu, which resembles their IDBox concept for Firefox 4.

The menu layout has stayed consistent with our previous Firefox themes, so users of Strata40, TwentyTen, and Metro would feel right at home.

The IDBox Popup:

For consistency’s sake, this popup matches the Firefox Menu’s design.

I feel that the current IDBox Popup should be informative, without bombarding the user with excess amounts of information.I slimmed down the popup by stripping away that bloat, and leaving just the domain name, company name, and encryption status.

I also feel there is need for images that attempt to tell us what we already know. If the IDBox is green, then we are aware that the site is secure, therefore another green icon within the popup is just wasting space.

The user has the option to view a more in-depth analysis of the current site by clicking more information.
